General-purpose polythene products - reliably manufactured

Seevent Plastics make a large range of general-purpose polythene products. Typical examples include:

• Polythene bags and sheets
• Carrier bags
• Polythene film on the reel.

These products are used for a wide range of purposes.

Polythene bags and sheets

Seevent Plastics make polythene bags of varying sizes from 38mm to 1000 mm wide and from 100 mm to 3000 mm long. These bags may be end-welded or side-welded.

They can be supplied as flat bags, or with either bottom or side gussets. They can have punched holes, euroslots, lateral seals, punched out handles or perforations.

These polythene bags can be supplied plain or printed in up to six colours on one or both sides. More information about Seevent’s design and print services can be found by going to Design & Print.

Polythene bags can be made in any colour of material, from 30mu to 250 mu thick. In fact, we can make just about any type of bag that you require.

Different materials can be used to give specific properties to our bags such as high strength, low slip, easy opening, or freezer-resistant.

All materials used comply with the latest EEC packaging regulations and unless specified by the customer, are suitable for food use.

Carrier bags

Seevent Plastics manufacture carrier bags in many different sizes and colours. We offer a standard white bag, made from our specially formulated Xtrastrong Plus material, with a side gusset. These are normally 457 mm (18”) long with a punched out handle, but can be made to virtually any size and colour. This bag can be printed in up to six colours.

Made from a tough linear polythene blend, Seevent’s polythene carrier bags are strong enough to carry most products. They can be printed with company names, brands, logos and product information in ways that enhance the reputation and awareness of your business.

Polythene film on the reel

Polythene film on the reel offers a very flexible method of packaging. It can be supplied, in any thickness from 30 mu up to 250 mu and any width from 38 mm wide for a large range of purposes. It can be supplied plain or printed as:

• Layflat tubing (LFT)
• Gusseted layflat tubing (GLFT)
• Centre folded sheet (CFS)
• Single wound sheet (SWS)
• Double wound sheet (DWS).

We are able to manufacture the film in a large range of colours, tailored to suit specific requirements. All materials used comply with the latest EEC packaging regulations and unless specified by the customer, are suitable for food use.
